Mr. Marc Rawlins, Legal Advisor
Mr. Rawlins joined the Commission as Legal and Enforcement Consultant to provide legal, regulatory and governance support and advice. Since 2016, he has also served as Secretary to the Board of Directors.
After being admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of Judicature in Trinidad and Tobago in 2006, Marc worked as an Instructing Attorney and Junior Counsel on a number of high profile constitutional and judicial review matters. He also has extensive experience in corporate governance in both the private and public sectors in Trinidad and Tobago and the Turks and Caicos Islands. Before assuming his current role within the Commission, Marc served as Advisor to various small companies in Trinidad and established the Corporate Secretariat at the Diego Martin Regional Corporation, a model which has since been emulated in several other Municipal Corporations in Trinidad.
Mr. Rawlins attained his LL.B from the University of London and Legal Practice Certificate (Pg. Dip. Legal Practice) from Staffordshire University. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries (ACIS) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
