Public Statement 24th April 2013

Public Statement Re: ICSL Trust Corporation (TCI) Limited– Revocation of License Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands, BWI – 24th April 2013 –

The Turks and Caicos Islands Financial Services Commission (“The Commission”) considers it necessary to issue this public statement in order to protect the public interest, and the interests of any of the customers and creditors of the ICSL TRUST CORPORATION (TCI) LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as ‘ICSL Trust’), and further to make the general public aware that ICSL Trust is no longer a licensee of the Commission. 

The details are: 

• ICSL Trust was issued a license (License No. 008) pursuant to the Trustees (Licensing) Ordinance on 3 rd December 1993.
•  ICSL Trust has made application to the Commission, pursuant to Section 34(1)(c) of the Financial Services Commission Ordinance, to have its license revoked. 
• The Commission accepted ICSL Trust’s application and subsequently revoked its Trustees license on 31 st March 2013. This Public Statement was issued pursuant to Section 39 of the Financial Services Commission Ordinance.
