Ms. Bolton was previously the Manager of the Domestic Insurance Unit at the Commission.  She has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry, as both an insurer and a regulator.  Ms. Bolton worked in the private sector in Jamaica in accounting and insurance, and as a senior insurance regulator with the Jamaica Financial Services Commission.   Ms. Bolton has made significant contributions to regional insurance regulation as an executive member of the Caribbean Association of Insurance Regulators (“CAIR”) and as a resource person and technical expert for the Caribbean Regional Technical Assistance Centre (“CARTAC”).  Ms. Bolton is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom and she holds a MBA from Florida International University, Florida, USA.
